   My mother has been looked after by the staff at Aranlaw House Care Home for the last two and a half years. She is aged 84 and suffering from late stage dementia. This involves a very high level of care needs in every aspect of her life. I have always found the staff to be most caring, well trained and efficient. The environment is excellent, and I feel that for someone in my mother’s situation it is ideal. Her room is always kept spotlessly clean. The lounges where the residents spend most of their day are bright and attractive. Food is imaginative and nutritious. A range of activities is organised, including outings. I can recommend this care home to others considering long term care for their elderly relatives.

   My aunt, has been a resident at the Care Home, Aranlaw House, for several months. I would like to take the opportunity to thank all your staff for their care and help which has been 100%. They have also showed the same care towards us. This exemplary care should not go unnoticed which is why we are writing. We would recommend Aranlaw House without hesitation. Thank you so much, as a great deal of worry has been lifted for us.

   I have been meaning to write for some time reference Aranlaw and its staff and to express just how pleased we are with the progress of my Mother-in-law. While this could be put down to her fighting spirit I believe the staff have and are continuing to have an extremely positive effect on her. It is with this in mind that I would like to express our thanks to the team, but more over the professionalism that is displayed not only when we visit but the fantastic care and attention she receives.

   While it would be unfair to single any of the team out, it is on this occasion necessary as they have, in my opinion, gone above and beyond their remit or job specification to not only help her but to also put us the family at ease and more so her husband, who now sees the benefits and outlook offered.

   Mandy, has been instrumental in this and while it may be an expectation of the Manager, it is noted how the team take on board her direction and personal service attitude. Debbie, Hannah and Lizzy also need to get a special mention as without the necessary backup any and all plans fail.

   As I have said ALL the staff we have been in contact with are FANTASTIC which goes a long way to ensuring the residents are comfortable and professionally if not personally cared for.

   It would seem you have a great team in place – please pass on our biggest and most hearth felt thanks – keep up the good work.
