Aspen Grange

Elderly CoupleAspen Grange Care Centre is a multi purpose establishment that provides short term care (respite) and long term care including end of life. The former Victorian residential property is located close to Boscombe sea front. The Care Home is registered to provide personal care and to 43 individuals both men and women over the age of 65 who fall in to both the old age category and dementia. The Care Home does not provide nursing care. Aspen Grange has 41 single bedrooms. On the Ground floor are there are five single bedrooms, 12 bedrooms with ensuite facilities, two lounges, two dining rooms, one quiet room, two WC’s and two bathrooms. The first floor provides 10 single bedrooms, 14 singe ensuite bedrooms, two bathrooms and two WC’s. The Care Home also has services areas such as a kitchen, laundry facilities, an office and various storage areas.

Our aim is to provide a service to meet your individual needs as assessed by our Managers, your social worker or care manager prior to you arriving at Aspen Grange. We aim to assist you to remain as independent as possible and to support in daily activities. We will ensure that you, and any appropriate family members or friends are involved in your care and planning while at Aspen Grange.

Aspen Grange is owned by Mr David Leedham and Mr Kevin Gunputh and staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by staff who are employed through a robust and thorough recruitment procedure.

The service provides and meets the needs of older people determined through our pre-admission assessment which is then expanded using our Care Plan tools. Using our signature matrix, you are able to determine the cost of your care through a straight forward, transparent and simple method. We have a wide selection of equipment at Aspen Grange designed to assist people with a range of physical needs. This includes hoisting equipment, profile beds and specialist pressure relieving equipment as well as bathrooms and toilets that are designed specifically for people who may need some assistance with these aspects of their personal care.
