Aranlaw remains under the same management and has been rebuilt to a magnificent specification whilst retaining ‘traditional home comforts’. We have secured the core staff during the development so that the home could be enhanced by embracing quality, experienced and professional staff.
The beautiful purpose built care home was designed to be in keeping with the wooded and affluent surrounding of Branksome Park. Located minutes from the blue flag beaches of Branksome Chine, the Care Home is able to provide a unique environment enjoyed by Residents, Staff and Visitors alike. The Care Home is registered to provide personal care and to 47 individuals both men and women over the age of 65 who fall in to both the old age category and dementia. The Care Home does not provide nursing care. Aranlaw House has 47 single bedrooms.
On the Ground floor are there are 11 single bedrooms all with ensuite shower facilities, one lounge with outdoor terrace and a restaurant style dining room which can be enjoyed by all.
The first floor has 20 single bedrooms all with ensuite shower facilities and our activities lounge. This lounge is used by all of our Residents for a simple game of bingo, an evening film or just relaxing and watching the world go by.
The second floor is a little bit special. This floor houses our unit designed to cater for dementia clients. Unique features such as bright doors, different signage and even technological innovation ensure that everyone’s personal safety is maintained.
What makes Aranlaw House special? The little touches. Underfloor heating to ensure warmth, air conditioning if it gets too hot. All bedrooms have wall mounted LCD TVs, nursecall systems, luxurious furnishings and en-suite shower rooms to ensure privacy. You are more than welcome to bring any of your cherished possessions to Aranlaw House. Nothing makes one feel more at home than their own furniture. If you are not happy with the colour of your room, please feel free to ask our Maintenance Team to make your changes.
Our aim is to provide a service to meet your individual needs as assessed by our Managers, your social worker or care manager prior to you arriving at Aranlaw House. We aim to assist you to remain as independent as possible and to support in daily activities. We will ensure that you, and any appropriate family members or friends are involved in your care and planning while at Aranlaw House.
Aranlaw House is owned Gunputh Associates Ltd under the luxurycare.co.uk banner. The registered provider is Kevin Gunputh who ensures that the Care Home is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year by staff that are employed through a robust and thorough recruitment procedure.
The Care Home provides and meets the needs of older people determined through our pre-admission assessment which is then expanded using our Care Plan tools. Using our signature matrix, you are able to determine the cost of your care through a straight forward, transparent and simple method. We have a wide selection of equipment at Aranlaw House designed to assist people with a range of physical needs. This includes hoisting equipment, profile beds and specialist pressure relieving equipment as well as bathrooms and toilets that are designed specifically for people who may need some assistance with these aspects of their personal care.
